Hey! I'm Jesse. I spend a lot of my free time thinking about college esports.
Once upon a time, I was a humble consultant helping colleges navigate esports program development. Then I traded in my consultant hat (it was a nice hat) to work as the Director of Esports at Pace University in New York. I'm also the Director of Operations for the non-profit organization Voice of Intercollegiate Esports (VOICE) in my so-called "free time".
The crossroads where higher education and esports meet is a peculiar place. It's exhilarating and fresh but also fraught and laggy. What does my fascination with college esports say about me? Still figuring that out, but it probably explains the bags under my eyes.
This site is an open journal of thoughts, research, and musings on all things collegiate esports. I like to think of it as my small contribution to the growing field, and I hope that my ideas serve as a springboard for even greater thoughts.
